Privacy Policy

DanceHub is a Metro Manila dance class discovery platform operated by Cameron Corona (dancehubmnl@gmail.com). The site is at dancehubmnl.com.

Through Google OAuth login we collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your Google profile picture URL

We also store information you provide or generate inside the app:

• Saved classes
• Follow relationships
• Profile information (alias, username, bio, dance-style preferences)
• Uploaded profile and banner images
• Optional details you may choose to share (city, birth year, gender) — private, never shown on your profile, used only in aggregate counts

To understand how DanceHub is used, we also log anonymous usage signals (e.g. which classes are viewed, saved, or booked, and searches) and, at signup, how you found us (e.g. an Instagram link and approximate city). These are analyzed only in aggregate.

• To enable saved classes and social features (follows, mutual connections)
• To personalize your experience based on your dance-style preferences
• To send relevant notifications (future feature)
• To understand our community and improve DanceHub, using aggregate statistics only — we never sell your data or share it with advertisers

DanceHub’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We do not sell personal data. We may share anonymized, aggregated usage data with partner studios (e.g. class popularity metrics) with no personally identifiable information included.

Data is retained as long as the account is active. Users can delete their account at any time from account settings, which permanently removes all personal data from our systems (profile, saved classes, follow relationships, and uploaded images).

Authentication is handled via Google OAuth. User data is stored securely using Supabase, which uses industry-standard encryption.
